Franken Feature: Frankenstine Polish - Pass the Courvoisier

Yes ladies!  This is a polish based on the hit single by Mr. Busta Rhymes, Pass the Courvoisier. :)  Clever isn't she?  And yes, you get every bit of the beautiful coppery brown goodness that this expensive cognac is known for in this polish!  In this post I will be reviewing Frankenstine Polishes Pass the Courvoisier.  PTC is a very hard to describe polish, one coat of this masterpiece will give you the slightest copper shimmer top coat, beautiful over a brown nude.  I layered this polish in 3 coats over 1 coat of Ruby Kisses Mickey Mouse Me, which is a light brown peachy nude base.  After one coat of Seche Vite I felt as rich as the people who drink this polishes namesake :P  Gorgeous gorgeous copper no words can describe.  I'll let you make that distinction with the following pictures...

How pretty is this?!  Wore this to work yesterday and got no less than 8 compliments, even one that said it looked so "buttery" he wanted to eat it! Haha anywho, it was an absolute blast swatching and featuring Frankenstine Polish on my blog and I will say this....there is plenty of room left in my collection for her gorgeous concoctions!  :)

Franken Feature: Frankenstine Polish - Jack & Sally

"Skeleton Jack might catch you in the back, and scream like a banshee, make you jump out of your skin!  This is Halloween, everyone scream, wont' ya please make way for a very special guy!  Our man jack is King of the Pumpkin patch, everyone hail to the Pumpkin King now!"

Yes yes my dear lacquerheads it is time for quite possibly my favorite feature!  Not only do these polishes have ties to my absolute favorite movie of all time (aside from Zombieland) but they are stunning in their own right.  I have for you, from Frankenstine Polish, Jack & Sally.  Jack is a clear based glitter top coat with matte white & black micro glitter, matte white and black hex glitter, and matte white & black bar glitter.  Very easy to apply in 3 thin coats, it does require a bit of scattering but I found it no harder to apply than any other glitter polish.  Sally is a shimmery teal jelly packed with matte white micro glitter, metallic red hex glitter, and matte black bar glitter, an absolutely spot on rendition of the pumpkin kings other half!

I literally squealed with excitement after these 2 swatches!

Now I didnt really know how Jack was going to come out over a sheer light pink base coat but I gave it a shot anyway.  I have to say I did not even want to take the swatch off to move on to Sally once I got it on, it was absolutely CRAZY!!!  I love love love how it turned out.  3 thin coats over 2 coats of Essie Virgin Orchid and I was in black and white heaven!  As for Sally, I layered her in 2 coats over 2 coats of L.A. Colors Sea Foam and it was just perfect!  Another A+ for Miss Christine at Frankenstine Polish and her lovely creations!

Franken Feature: Frankenstine Polish - Shift Change At Merlotte's

Welcome back dolls to another installment of Franken Feature!!  In this post I will be reviewing Frankenstine Polishes Shift Change At Merlotte's!  Yes, this is a tribute to the hit TV show True Blood!  Shift Change is a clear based glitter top coat with gorgeous specks of metallic green micro glitter, matte white micro glitter, matte white hex glitter and tiny little holo green bar glitter!!  Reminds me of something Poison Ivy would don :)  Again virtually no fishing for glitter in this polish!  In the following pictures I have it layered in 2 coats over 2 coats of China Glaze Agro. The formula is very easy to work with and the glitter spreads fairly evenly.

I swear I'll get better at taking pictures!  Or get a new phone/camera :P  In all seriousness how amazing would this look over white or a light green?!  No topcoat here but imagine how the green micro glitter would pop through a clear coat.  Another great polish by the lovely Christine and Frankenstine Polish.

Franken Feature: Frankenstine Polish - Dark Side of the Moon

So I have decided to feature each polish individually, mostly because I got so many pictures and thoughts to go along with each of her gorgeous creations.  In this post I will be reviewing Frankenstine Polishes Dark Side of the Moon.  DSOTM is a absolutely breathtaking black jelly polish riddled with holographic micro glitter and holographic hex glitter.  The formula is great with very little to no fishing for glitter.  In the following pictures I have it in 2 coats over one coat of Sinful Colors Lavender.  I cannot stress enough how radiantly glittery this polish is!!! I just could not capture its gorgeous shine!

As you can see I have blurred some of the pictures to show the true holographic quality of the glitters in this franken.  You can see every bit of green, blue, and gold shine in this baby! So if you havent already noticed I am incredibly excited about this polish and it's wearability.  Any of you glitter loving lacquerheads are absolutely looney if you don't pick one of these bad boys up. :)
